Water and Electricity

If you are unfortunate enough to drop your phone in water or have it come into contact with any liquid the best thing to do is bring it to Crawley Computer Centre immediately. DO NOT try and turn it on, water and electricity is going to cause damage to your phone’s circuitry. This commonly known as a ‘short’, which can permanently damage the phone’s silicon chips, sometimes it may survive a small short but can get forced into DFU (Direct Firmware Upgrade/Restore mode) and cannot be recovered without erasing all of your data.
